Paper Pumpkin - August 2019

One thing I love about Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Pumpkin monthly craft kits is the surprise. But they know not everyone likes to wait to see what’s in the box so they’ve been giving us sneak peaks.  The August kit looks like it will be perfect for fall crafting with fun fall-themed treat bags.

Here are the details for the kit:

  • - Makes 6 fall-themed gift bags
  • - Makes 12 fall-themed gift tags
  • - Coordinating colors: Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Merry Merlot, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock, and Soft Suede.

If you’re curious about Paper Pumpkin this is the perfect time to give it a try.
Use this link to subscribe before August 10 to get in on the fun. You can cancel at any time.

The other thing I love about Paper Pumpkin is that they change things up to keep it fresh and interesting.  This month they are offering an add on card option.  If treat bags aren’t your thing, you can purchase an add on bundle to make 24 cards (12 each of two designs) with envelopes.
Here's the Add-on Information:

  • - Gift of Fall Add-On Bundle (item # 152885)
  • - Price: $13.00 cad
  • - Includes 24 card bases of 2 different designs with coordinating envelopes (note card size)
  • - Product dimensions - Cards: 5" x 3-1/2"   Envelopes: 5-1/8" x 3-5/8"
  • - Available August 1, while supplies last.  Let me know if you are interested in the add on. I can group the orders to save on shipping.

Happy You’re Here

I’m always looking for small treats to share at my card classes.  This one was inspired by Chris Slogar, a demonstrator from Ohio.  She had used the new Daisy Lane stamp set and punch. Having just recently done a class focusing on that set, I wanted to change it up.
This fun print from the Dinoroar designer series paper and Mango Melody cardstock combined for just the fun, summery look I was going for.  The sunburst die from the Botanical Tags dies paired with it perfectly.

Here are the dimensions:
- cardstock 2” x 8 1/2” — score at 7”
- designer series paper 4” x 5” — score on long side at 1 3/8” and 3 5/8”

I used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch and a piece of Lovely Lipstick 1/8” grosgrain ribbon.

And the sentiment “Happy You’re Here” from the Time for Tags stamp set says it all.  I love sharing my love of stamping. So whether you’re at one of my card classes or here on my blog, I really am happy you’re here!
